BLAX is a streaming platform dedicated to showcasing Black cinema and storytelling. We provide a space for Black filmmakers to share their stories and for audiences to discover authentic, diverse content that celebrates Black culture and experiences.
BLAXTV onboarding is invitation-only. Request access at /invite/request. After approval you can sign in and start watching.
Currently, BLAX is available in the United States and Canada. We are working to expand our service to other regions. Please check back regularly for updates on international availability.
BLAX offers a diverse range of content including feature films, documentaries, short films, series, and experimental works. Our content spans various genres including drama, comedy, thriller, romance, horror, and more, all created by Black filmmakers.
You can request an invitation from the Request Invitation page. If approved, we email you access. Sign-in supports email and Google OAuth.
If you've forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in page. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a link to reset your password. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email.
For security reasons, we recommend that each person has their own account. Sharing account credentials violates our Terms of Service and could result in account suspension. We're working on family plan options for the future.
You can update your profile information by going to your account settings. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner, then select "Settings" to modify your name, email, password, and other account details.
We regularly add new content to our platform. New films are typically added weekly, and we also feature special premieres and exclusive releases. Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to stay updated on new releases.
Currently, we don't offer offline downloads. All content must be streamed while connected to the internet. We're exploring offline viewing options for future updates.
We offer multiple video quality options including 480p, 720p, and 1080p HD. The available quality depends on your internet connection and device capabilities. Premium subscribers get access to higher quality streams.

BLAX is available on web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), iOS and Android mobile devices, and smart TVs. We're continuously working to expand device compatibility.
We recommend a minimum internet speed of 5 Mbps for standard definition and 10 Mbps for high definition streaming. For the best experience, we recommend 25 Mbps or higher.
If you're experiencing buffering, try: 1) Checking your internet connection, 2) Closing other applications using bandwidth, 3) Lowering the video quality, 4) Refreshing the page. If problems persist, contact our support team.
Free accounts can watch on one device at a time. Premium subscribers can watch on up to 2 devices simultaneously. We're working on increasing this limit for family plans.
BLAX offers both free and premium subscription options. Free accounts have access to a limited selection of content with ads. Premium subscriptions start at $9.99/month and provide ad-free viewing, exclusive content, and higher video quality.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account settings and selecting "Subscription Management." Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
We offer refunds within 30 days of purchase if you're not satisfied with our service. Please contact our support team with your refund request. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
